Launch Events for RDPE rural business grants in Lancashire

Are you a business in rural Lancashire aiming to grow or someone with a new business idea looking for help to set up?  Maybe you’re a farmer looking to diversify into new activities, or operate an agricultural or forestry business and want to introduce new technology or develop new product ideas.  Perhaps you’re even an agency providing business advice and support with clients who might need funding to realise their business growth plans.

If the answer to any of the above is yes then the Lancashire Local Action Groups would love you to join them at one of their three launch events taking place around Lancashire throughout September:

Pennine - Mitton Hall, Little Mitton – 14th September, 5.30pm – 7.30pm

West - Martin Mere, Burscough – 23rd September, 7pm – 9pm

North - Lancaster House Hotel, Lancaster – 30th September, 6.30pm – 8.30pm

Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE) funding is now available across the rural areas of the County to support a range of business improvement ideas.  These free events will feature an introduction to the funds and what sort of projects can be supported, as well as the chance to meet other agencies which can offer support to rural businesses in your area.  A buffet will be provided at all 3 events and there will be plenty of time at the end to network with the delivery officers and ask specific questions about any project ideas you may have.

To book a place please go to the Lancashire Economic Partnership web-site at www.lancashire-ep.org.uk and click on Events on the left hand side.  All 3 events are listed and you should click on the link next to the event you wish to attend and enter your contact details.  Note:  Places are limited and must be booked in advance so please register as soon as possible to secure one.

Note: This project is part funded by the European Union – European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
