Staff at Ribby Hall Village get their hands dirty for Green Tourism Week!

In the run up to Green Tourism week, the Green Team at five-star Ribby Hall Village have dug in and got their hands dirty to launch the new Nature Trail for both holiday guests and day visitors to enjoy! The Lancashire holiday village which offers luxury cottages and pine lodges for short breaks and holidays is the perfect location to enjoy the great outdoors. The Nature Trail includes wood carvings, beautiful wild flowers and a mini-beast mansion. Spring Bank Half Term saw more than 80 families complete a fantastic treasure hunt around the trail where they had to collect nature clues to receive a free goodie bag full of toys and games.

The Green Team made up of representatives from each department within the business is responsible for addressing ‘Green’ issues and flying the environmentally friendly flag. It’s been a great year for Ribby Hall Village, recently receiving the ‘Gold award’ for Green Tourism by the Green Tourist Board Scheme. In addition to this fantastic accolade they were also awarded Green Business of the year at the Lancashire Green Awards and the award for Environmental Impact at the Lancashire Business View awards.

The Nature Trail at Ribby Hall Village is open to guests staying on The Village and also those visiting for the day. Over the remainder of the year it will be extended to eventually go around the whole village with lots more to see and do. So watch this space!

A holiday at award winning Ribby Hall Village costs from only £13 per person per night staying in a luxury self-catering cottage. Included in this price guests can enjoy use of the family fun swimming pool with water chutes and spa pools, adult swimming pool with steam room, spa pool and poolside loungers, four fishing ponds, indoor soft play area, outdoor adventure playground, selected family and over 18’s accommodation, selected aqua aerobic classes and a personal training session for every adult guest.
