New Business Resources to Showcase the Special Nature of Morecambe Bay

Thursday, 21st November 2013

Join us to create new business resources to showcase the special nature of Morecambe Bay to visitors.

Morecambe Bay Nature Visitor and Business Guides
Where’s your hidden gem?

Morecambe Bay is a special place to do business. We want to show visitors the very best of the nature around the Bay, to give them the experiences that they want so they will stay longer, come back again, and tell their friends.

We would like to make a Tourism Business Guide to help you show visitors all that is fascinating, quirky and exciting about Morecambe Bay.

But we can’t do it without you! You know the visitor and the Bay inside and out, so we would love to hear about your hidden gems: the best spots to explore, the greatest walks and bike rides, and the top places to shop, relax and refuel.

Our next nature tourism network events will bring businesses and nature experts together to share and collect local information to capture the essence of Morecambe Bay.

Bring along your ideas, photos, stories, memories and more to share and learn from others!
In return you’ll have the chance to network with like-minded businesses and find out new things to show to your visitors.

Learn how you can create an ‘adventure from your own doorstep’ with Sophie Cade from Nurture Lakeland.

Promoting a destination works best when businesses come together to give the visitor that world-class experience. So come and join us.

“Thanks for the opportunity to share ideas with other tourism businesses” attendee, June event.

Join us at one of our free events around the Bay. Lunch and refreshments provided.

All run 11am—3pm
3 December - The Stork Inn, Condor Green
4 December - Ulverston Golf Club, Ulverston
10 December - Leighton Moss Nature Reserve, Silverdale

Book your place here or contact Roger secretary@baytourism.co.uk or Jenny jenny.wain@rspb.org.uk 01524 581013

Come and share your local knowledge and find out about Art Gene’s work to create new Visitor Maps for the Bay!

Morecambe Bay Nature is a network of businesses passionate about nature. We are working together with the support of the Morecambe Bay Local Nature Partnership to make Morecambe Bay one of the top UK places to see wildlife and nature.
