Martina Cole brings ‘The Good Life’ to County Hall

6 November 2014

Top-selling queen of crime drama Martina Cole will be at County Hall for a special event on Tuesday 11 November.

From 7pm Martina will be talking about her work, meeting fans and signing copies of her new book, The Good Life.

The event has been organised by Lancashire County Council's library service and the SilverDell Bookshop in Kirkham.

Tickets cost £5, which can be redeemed against the price of a signed book on the night.

The Good Life tells the story of Cain Moran, a hard man who falls in love with Jenny Riley and wants nothing more than to be with her.

Jenny is not just any girl. She cares nothing for Cain's hard-man reputation – she just wants to be with him.

But Cain is not a free man. And he's about to find out that when his wife Caroline said 'til death us do part', she meant it.

Martina Cole is the popular author of multiple bestsellers set in London's gangland. The Essex-born writer has sold over 10 million copies of her books.

Two of her titles, The Take and The Runaway, were adapted for Sky One to great acclaim, and The Take also won the British Book Awards for Crime Thriller of the Year.

As well as being massive bestsellers, critics have described Martina's books as 'intensely readable' and noted that 'her gripping plots pack a mean emotional punch'.

Tickets can be booked through SilverDell on 01772 683444 or by emailing [email protected].
