Lancashire Theatre Date For Sarah

30 April 2014

Sarah Lancashire took up a new role at Lancaster’s Dukes Theatre last week, just a few days before her latest drama hit national television screens.

The popular actress visited The Dukes on Friday (April 25) to attend a Charity Gala Performance of The Life and Times Of Mitchell & Kenyon.

During the evening, it was officially announced that Sarah will be The Dukes first Honorary Patron which will see her being an ambassador for Lancashire’s only home producing theatre.

It’s been a busy week for Sarah as the first episode of her new BBC1 police drama 'Happy Valley' was broadcasted on Tuesday.

She is also in the running for a BAFTA Television Award for her role in the BBC1 series 'Last Tango In Halifax.'
