Wildlife Celebrity to Help Celebrate 50 Golden Years

Well-known wildlife television presenter Chris Packham is set to return to RSPB Leighton Moss this July, sparking a sense of excitement around the Silverdale reserve.

As part of the 50th anniversary celebrations at Leighton Moss, Chris will be hosting some very special events and visitors are invited to join in.

On Thursday 3 July, Chris will be leading a guided walk on the reserve from 2-3.30 pm, to showcase the wonderful wildlife and history of the site. The cost is £25 per person.

The following day, Friday 4 July, there will be the opportunity to join a guided walk with Chris from 11.30 am-1 pm, followed by an exclusive lunch with him from 1-2 pm. The cost is £50 per person.
There will be a final guided walk with Chris on Friday 4 July, from 2.15-3.45 pm. The cost is £25 per person.

Annabel Rushton, Marketing Officer at RSPB Leighton Moss and Morecambe Bay nature reserve, said: “We are delighted that Chris is coming here in July. We have been giving nature a home for 50 years at Leighton Moss and are doing lots of things throughout the year to celebrate, but this is set to be one of the highlights.

“It is fantastic to have Chris help us mark our anniversary by showing people the wildlife that makes this place so special. It is a real privilege.”
