Lancashire’s Lytham Hall breathes Life into Classic Cars

22 July 2014

In August, Lytham Hall is the stunning location for a fabulous classic car show that’s not to be missed.

If the revving engine of a vintage vehicle sets your heart racing and the glint of a beautifully waxed bonnet catches your eye, then Lytham Hall is the place to be, as this glorious parade of gorgeous classic cars only visits the Lancashire venue once a year.

Taking place on the 3rd August, this fantastic event gives visitors the chance to get up close to over 300 classic cars and bikes, as well as the opportunity to speak to exhibitors about their passion.

A perfect day of motoring nostalgia, there will be displays of commercial vehicles, vans, trucks, motorcycles and classic Land Rovers as well as club displays, all set  on the lawns of the grade 1 listed 18th century manor house.

Organised and run by Mark Woodward Classic Events, this is just one of 25 shows he manages up and down the country, but the only visit he’s making to the Fylde coast this year. His events are regarded as the pedigree of motoring events and are always well supported by exhibitors and visitors alike.

He said “I organise a lot of different shows but I always love coming back here. I used to live in Lytham and it does feel like coming home.  This event is a fun packed day out that will get even the most keyed up of classic car enthusiasts into gear”.

Lytham Hall is a fine, grade 1 listed, 18th century manor house on Lancashire’s Fylde coast. The Hall is situated in 80 acres of mature parkland, and was built for Thomas Clifton by John Carr of York between 1752-1764. During the event the hall and grounds are open (a small extra admission charge applies if you wish to tour the hall) and refreshments will be served in their delightful tearoom.
