Get the “February Frighteners” with Blackpool Ghost Walks!

28 January 2015

Blackpool-based Supernatural Events is back with its thrilling, but chilling, Blackpool Ghost Walks this February Half-Term. The nightly spooky strolls from Saturday 14th to Saturday 21st February have been organised for the school holiday period taking in the town’s most haunted hotspots including some of its most famous buildings and attractions.

Blackpool Ghost Walks return for the half-term holidays when you are invited to join the Victorian Ghost Hunter, Haunted Blackpool author and founder of Supernatural Events Stephen Mercer, who will guide you to some of the resort’s most famous, and most haunted, locations where you will hear tales of mystery and the macabre as well as one or two spooky stories and a few terrifying tales! The walks will take place at 7.30pm each evening from Saturday 14th to Saturday 21st February.

The spooky strolls begin on the promenade (meeting at the front of North Pier, next to the ice cream and candy floss stall) and wind their way around the streets stopping at some of Blackpool’s most important buildings and attractions with those in attendance learning of the town’s haunted heritage!

Stephen said, “I have hosted Blackpool Ghost Walks since 2010 and I am so pleased that both residents and visitors to the town enjoy them. Last year the walks took place during all the main holiday periods; they were very well received. This year more walks than ever have been arranged and there will be some new scary stories to tell at a few new locations. It’s going to be fright-fully good fun!”

The Blackpool Ghost Walks (ranked number one on TripAdvisor’s “Activities in Blackpool”) take place at 7.30pm each evening from Saturday 14th to Saturday 21st February. They last approximately one and half hours, are fully accessible and fun for all the family.

Tickets are just £5, £3.50 for under 14s or £15 for a family of four (minimum of one under 14 in attendance), and can be purchased in advance from www.BlackpoolGhostWalks.co.uk or www.SupernaturalEvents.co.uk. They also can be purchased from Blackpool Tourist Information Centre on the Promenade (call 01253 478222) and from your tour guide on the night of a ghost walk.
