Blackburn company get cameo in hilarious new Warburton’s advert

15 April 2015

Signage by Blackburn company Sign Options takes centre stage in the opening scenes of Warburton's latest tv advert featuring Sylvester Stallone.

The start of the hilarious advert shows Stallone calling up Warburton's Headquarters, where Totem and Building Signage designed and installed by Sign Options is clearly visual in several scenes.

The advert – which is largely set in Bolton – is creating a buzz across the North West and beyond as it rapidly goes viral, and the Sign Options offices are in on the hype.

David Lang, managing director of Sign Options, said; "We were all really excited to see some of our work featured in the advert. We've done some pretty high profile work over the years, often spotting large retail parks or shopping centres we've worked on in the background of tv shows and adverts, but to see our signs so prominently shown – and on the same screen as Sylvester Stallone no less, got everyone in the office excited."

Warburtons underwent a nationwide rebrand in 2013, which involved Sign Options visiting and individually designing new branded signage solutions for every bakery and distribution centre from Enfield to Glasgow.

Examples of the totem signs and building signage provide the backdrop for the opening sequence of the advert, and again as Stallone arrives to begin his delivery.

2015 is already a year of celebration for the Blackburn company, who celebrate their tenth year in business this year, and an featuring in an advert with Sylvester Stallone is one tenth anniversary celebration no-one at the company will forget in a hurry.

James Aaron, Project Manager at Sign Options said "I think we'll have to have bread and butter pudding at the tenth anniversary party – I wonder if we could entice Sylvester Stallone to join us?"
