Reflection with Cameron Baird at the Judges’ Lodgings Museum

15 July 2015

A debut exhibition of photographs taken by talented local photographer Cameron Baird will be on display at the Judges' Lodgings Museum from Monday 20 July.

The 'Reflection' exhibition includes images of landscapes, nature and wildlife from across the district in both colour and black and white.

One of Cameron's monochrome photographs, 'Dramatic Silhouette', on display in the exhibition, has already appeared on the popular BBC Winterwatch Unsprung programme, when it was acknowledged as a favourite of presenter and naturalist Chris Packham.

To complement the exhibition, Cameron Baird will give a talk about his work on Wednesday 2 September at 1pm.

Jennifer Ingham, Lancashire County Council's manager at the museum, said: "After being given national acclaim by Chris Packham, this exhibition really gives people a chance to see the brilliant work of Cameron Baird for themselves.

"Visitors will be able to see a real diversity of creative work from Cameron's own perspective.

"This is made even more special for us as Cameron hails from Bolton-le-Sands, and this work features our local area."

The exhibition runs until Sunday 20 September.

Summer opening times are 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday, and noon to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Admission to the Judges' Lodgings Museum is £3 for adults and £2 for concessions. Accompanied children go free.
