The Barton Grange Hotel Completes the Second Stage of its Refurbishment

15 July 2015

The Barton Grange Hotel in Preston has completed the second stage of its £500 000 refurbishment programme this month, which includes a full upgrade to its four ‘Grove’ training suites, main Barton Suite conference and event space and 51 bedrooms.

Owned by Preston’s Topping family and renowned as one of the area’s leading independent venues, the four-star Barton Grange Hotel has completed work on its ‘Grove Suites’ – Olive, Lime, Orange and Lemon – which now provide a stylish and inspiring modern workplace for 2-14 people to meet, with each offering natural daylight and air conditioning. The Hotel’s main event space which accommodates up to 300 people theatre-style, The Barton Suite, has also undergone a complete transformation over the last month. It offers event organisers a private bar and balcony in addition to the refurbished main room, which now also includes feature lighting, new audio/PA system and the latest technology that allows the projection of event branding onto a specially designed dance floor.

Improvements to guest rooms include décor upgrades, individual Sky TV boxes (free sports and movies in executive rooms), free hi-speed fibre Wi-Fi, handmade British EPOC mattresses for a good night’s sleep, Ruark Bluetooth speakers, and Nespresso coffee machines in all the executive and superior rooms.

Additional refurbishment is planned to finish towards the end of 2015 with the completion of a fantastic new bar area for The Barton Suite.

Daniel Rich, general manager of the Barton Grange Hotel, said: “The completion of this second stage of refurbishment is fantastic news for our guests, and it confirms our position as a leading four star hotel and conference venue in the area.‘

He adds: ‘The quality of our service and the warmth of our welcome have always been second to none. With the new look conference facilities and some of the latest in audio-visual technology, we can offer a more contemporary style venue that better meets the needs of today’s meetings and event planners. We are all looking forward to a successful 2015 as the hotel goes from strength to strength.’
