Help To Light Up Lancaster

12 October 2016

Volunteers are needed to help Light Up Lancaster.

This festival of art and light in Lancaster city centre will take place over the two nights of November 4-5.

Light Up Lancaster organisers are looking for friendly volunteer stewards to help guide people during the event and ensure that all runs smoothly and safely.

Duties could include informing the public about the event, helping to sell merchandise and reporting any hazards or issues.

Volunteers are required on one or both nights at various city centre locations and must be aged 18 plus.

Volunteer shifts on the Friday run from 4pm-10pm and on Saturday from 4-7.30pm. Complimentary food and drinks are on offer at The Dukes after the event on both nights.

Any volunteers are required to attend a training session at The Dukes at either 2-3.30pm or 5-6.30pm on October 29.

If you’re interested in helping out, pick up a form at The Dukes Box Office in Moor Lane or visit http://lightuplancaster.co.uk/get-involved/
