To launch the arrival of the Easter Bunny, Ribby Hall Village presents five fascinating bunny rabbit facts

  1. Rabbits have almost 360 degree panoramic vision. Their only blind spot in right in front of their nose!
  2. Rabbits can jump up to one metre high and three metres long.
  3. Rabbits are social creatures and if kept as pets should be kept in pairs. Companionship is key to their welfare.
  4. A baby rabbit is called a Kit.
  5. Rabbits are recognized as symbols of fertility and rebirth hence the association with Spring and Easter.

Ribby Hall Village in Lancashire has a rabbit-inspired Easter lined up this Spring with the Easter Bunny moving in to his magical treehouse Easter Bunny Hutch. Children will be able to climb the tree, meet the Easter bunny and collect an Easter egg. Ribby Hall Village will also be transforming its’ Woodland Trail into an egg-citing Easter Egg hunt. Giant Easter eggs will be hidden around the trail and children will need to crack the eggs open to solve the clues, complete the clue sheet and win a chocolate prize.

Children will also be able to meet and hold new baby rabbits at The Village’s newest attraction Wild Discovery. Wild Discovery is an interactive animal experience where children can learn all about different animals and their habitats. Special themed Easter activities will take place within the Hatchery where children can learn about the chicks being born and then hold some of the baby chicks and rabbits within the petting zoo.
