Enjoy a fantastic Easter treat at Blackpool Pleasure Beach!

Tuesday, 22nd March 2016

Get ready for an egg-cellent, action packed Easter at Blackpool Pleasure Beach!  The park is open for fantastic family fun throughout the Easter holidays from 25th March and then every day until 6th November.

There are so many things to enjoy while at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.  Test your nerves on Red Arrows Skyforce, which will have you spinning, swirling and exciting your senses while your fellow pilots take control of their own flights.  Experience the breathtaking views and adrenaline thrills on the UK’s tallest roller coaster, The Big One, then turn your world upside down on Pleasure Beach’s classic looping coaster, Revolution.

This year Blackpool Pleasure Beach celebrates its 120th anniversary so it’s the perfect time to enjoy some of the park’s classic rides such as the Flying Machines, River Caves and the legendary twin-tracked rollercoaster, the Grand National.

For action packed family fun, Nickelodeon Land is the place to be.  Nickelodeon Land is a 6-acre area of Pleasure Beach, home to 12 rides and attractions where guests can rub shoulders with famous Nick characters such as SpongeBob SquarePants, and Dora the Explorer.

Over Easter weekend, on Nickelodeon Land, children can meet all of their favourite characters and also have the chance to take part in fun activities with the chance to win a special Easter treat.

Wallace and Gromit’s Thrill-O-Matic takes a trip through the famous pair’s adventures, from A Grand Day Out, trying out The Wrong Trousers, having A Close Shave before dealing with A Matter of Loaf and Death and tackling The Curse of the Were Rabbit.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach Managing Director, Amanda Thompson OBE, said: “2016 promises to be a very special year at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, with the 120th anniversary of the park and the 80th year of Hot Ice both taking place.  We are looking forward to welcoming back visitors to the park to help us celebrate these milestones.”

Blackpool Pleasure Beach is open until 8pm on Easter Saturday, Sunday and Monday, giving you plenty time to enjoy all of your favorite rides.  Wristbands start from £21 if booked online, in advance of your visit.  For more information, or to book wristbands, visit www.blackpoolpleasurebeach.com
