Red Arrows return for stunning display at Blackpool Pleasure Beach

The Red Arrows will be the stars of the show with a dazzling air display above Blackpool Pleasure Beach on Saturday 21st May!

On Saturday 21st May, visitors to Blackpool Pleasure Beach can enjoy a day on the park featuring special displays, exhibitions and information from the Armed Forces and other associations.  The day will culminate in a spectacular air display above the skies of Pleasure Beach from the world famous Red Arrows.  Back for a second year to celebrate the first birthday of the park’s newest ride, Red Arrows Skyforce, this is a day not to be missed.

Loved across the planet for their jaw-dropping displays which have thrilled millions, the pride of the Royal Air Force are represented at the UK’s favourite amusement park in a unique partnership where the rider takes control of their own aeroplane to become a master of the skies.

Red Arrows Skyforce sits in the shadow of the famous Big One rollercoaster. The 72ft high, 12-seat white-knuckle ride takes you on a 360-degree tour of the skies. Stepping into your very own Red Arrows cockpit, you take control of the plane and spin, glide and take formation in your very own display.

Red Arrows Skyforce has you spinning, swirling and exciting the senses while you and your fellow pilots take control of their own flights before touching down and checking out a dedicated shop, which features exclusive merchandise and souvenirs designed for Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

Deputy Managing Director of Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Nick Thompson, said: “Last year the Red Arrows put on a fantastic display to mark the launch of Red Arrows Skyforce.  As the event was so popular and brought tens of thousands of people out onto the promenade, we decided to repeat this to mark the ride’s first birthday.”

Unlimited Ride wristbands start from £19 for children and £21 for adults if booked at least 10 days in advance of your visit.  On Saturday 21st May, Blackpool Pleasure Beach is open from 10am until 7pm with the Red Arrows Display taking place at 6.30pm.
