Brickhouse Farm combine forces of accessibility in the ‘Lanes of Lancashire’!”

6 September 2016

Brickhouse Farm Holiday Cottages are proud to host the EMpowered Cycling Group this week covering over 150 miles in the Lanes of Lancashire!  Brickhouse’s accessible holiday accommodation will be the ideal base for all 50 riders some with conditions such as amputations, acquired brain injuries and parkinson’s disease.

After a local road traffic accident when in her teens,  Charlotte, our daughter, will be cycling in this gruelling challenge covering 3600 foot of incline on the first day!  These challenging days will be followed by evenings of pure relaxation here on the Farm enjoying a soak in the accessible hot tubs,  a hog roast and live band whilst overlooking our fishing lake and whilst being assisted by our local Scouting Group.

Please keep an eye out for the hi-vis Cycle Group passing through your area;  Lancaster, Wrea Green, Lytham, Fleetwood and of course Over Wyre. Every whoop and clap will work wonders and encourage that next push on the hand/foot pedal.
