14 October 2016

Ghastly screams and fright night thrills await you at Blackpool Pleasure Beach this Halloween!

Get ready for the fright of your life as Blackpool Pleasure Beach turns blood red from Saturday 22nd October to Monday 31st October as creatures of the night make the 42-acre attraction their home.  On Saturday 29th October, Vampire Beach, our Halloween Spooktacular returns for a late night of thrill, chills and frights galore plus an amazing firework display.

Every day throughout the 10 days at 1pm and 3pm,  Creepy Hollow opens its doors in Planet Rock for educational and interactive work shops.  There will be Stick Insects, Cockroaches, Giant Snails, a Snake, a Lizard, a Tenrec (Madagascan hedgehogs) and various weird and wonderful artifacts! In between these sessions visitors can come up to see and touch the animals up close.
While you are visiting, watch out for Lougarock the Werewolf & creepy old man Scepticemus! Keep an eye out for these creepy visitors as you never know where they might turn up!

To get you in a spooky mood, atmospheric music and sounds will be playing on park  as well as scarecrows, pumpkins coffins and some unlwelcome visitors who we've locked behind closed doors for good measure…the question is…can the doors hold them?

How can you have Halloween without Pumpkin carving? Well don't worry we have an amazing pumpkin carver on Saturday 29th Sunday 30th and Monday 31st October in the Sculpture Gardens. He's scarily good!

At Vampire Pleasure Beach on Saturday 29th October, we are inviting all our guests to arrive in their creepiest and scariest costumes with competitions for the kids and adults!  Adults in fancy dress will receive a FREE Vampire Blood Cocktail and for all the kids in fancy dress – don't forget to ask for your Trick or Treat down in Nickelodeon Land in the Nick Shop.

From 4pm the park changes into a ghastly and spine-chilling atmosphere with hordes of Zombies and Vampires have broken free from their prison in the catacombs of Blackpool Pleasure Beach and can be found roaming the park in search for victims!

Watch out for the supernatural stilt walkers and freaky fire eater who will be making their way around park during Vampire Pleasure Beach. Live bands will also be playing from 4pm in our FY4 area around the Spooktacular Dancing Waters Show!

Looking for an extra frightening experience? Try and find your way through the Horror Maze where gruesome guys and ghouls are around every corner!

All of this and a hair raising evening of Late Night Riding and to finish you all off a frightening display of fireworks at 10pm!
