Lancaster Chamber President’s Dinner is Mega

17 November 2017

Guests attending Lancaster & District’s Chamber’s President Dinner experienced a social extravaganza of magical and musical entertainment not to be forgotten.
Alistair Eagles, Chamber President hosted an evening at Lancaster House Hotel on the 20th October for 140 guests. President Eagles took a new approach to the president’s speech and not only delivered but wrote an (epic) poem on how great our area is!

The Dinner also raised £1,500 for the Chambers charity of the Year, Lancaster & District Homeless Action Shelter.  The funds will go towards maintaining the daily operation of their Edward Street, Lancaster base – providing shower and laundry, breakfast and lunch, as well as advocacy and support to those experiencing homelessness or those at risk of being homeless.
Sandra O’Neill Finance Manger at the Homeless Shelter commented after the event ‘On behalf of all staff, trustees, volunteers and clients of LDHAS,  please convey our sincere thanks to all who contributed to the funds received.  Just as importantly, the event provided an opportunity for our ‘voice’ to be heard and to  provide information about our work to those who may have not heard about LDHAS.’
