Who will be crowned top of the shops?

23 February 2017

The Mall Blackburn is calling for Lancashire shoppers to have their say on their favourite stores by voting in this year’s prestigious Retailer Awards.

Now in its 15th year, The Mall Blackburn’s Retailer Awards celebrate the achievements of the shopping centre’s 100 plus retailers and recognise the hard work and dedication of its employees.

Themed ‘The Great Gatsby’ retailers will be dressing up in famous 20s fashions from flapper dresses to dapper suits and heading to King George’s Hall on Saturday 18th March 2017.

A total of seven awards will be presented on the night, including four that will be voted for solely by shoppers.

Customer service, product knowledge, store presentation, variety of offering, environment, value for money and customer insight should be considered by shoppers when voting for the:

·      Best Customer Experience Award
·      Best Food & Beverage Award
·      Best Service Provider Award
·      Best Retailer Award

A judging panel from The Mall will then select the Best Involvement in Marketing Award and the Commitment to Health and Safety Award and shoppers, along with Market Management, will choose who receives the Best Market Trader Award.

Customers have until Tuesday 14th March 2017 to cast their vote at the Ask Me Point or by visiting https://goo.gl/HfsR9g

Everyone that votes will be entered into a prize draw to win a £100 Mall Gift Card.

Loraine Jones, General Manager at The Mall Blackburn, said: “The Retailer Awards really are the highlight of our year as it gives us the chance to reward excellence and outstanding achievements across a variety of different categories.

“Our retailers work tirelessly to provide a fantastic shopping experience, which is why we’re urging as many shoppers as possible to vote for their favourites.

“We have welcomed lots of new shops and eateries in the past 12 months including Home and Fragrance, Rhode Island Coffee, The Entertainer, PureGym, Minoti, Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shop, a second Costa Coffee, Muffin Break, Burger King, El Taco Loco and Krispy Kreme, so the competition is tougher than ever before!”
