Great British Food Festival announces Cash for Kids as Charity Partner

The Great British Food Festival which is taking place on Friday the 21st to Sunday 23rd April have announced local charity, Rock FM's Cash for Kids as its charity partner.

The popular food festival is back at Stonyhurst for it's fifth year, with over 100 amazing producer and street food vendors.

Organiser Daniel Maycock said 'we are really pleased to be supporting such a great local cause, all the money we raise on our challenge stage will be give to Cash for Kids', Daniel explained 'The Challenge Stage is where we host the Men V Food Challenges, Cake Off's and our Taste Off's so we get lots of donations and the entry fees from the challenges will go straight to Cash for Kids.'

Rock FM will also be down on the day with their street team doing some fun games and getting involved in the event.

The event will have over 100 different traders, featuring the best of British Artisan food producers and street food vendors, along with craft and gift stalls, fantastic chef demos, foodie talks, man vs food competitions and live music.

There is entertainment for all the family over the weekend, including kid’s cookery lessons, circus skills, craft area and children’s rides. With live music throughout the day from a play list packed full of top local bands, so you can do some shopping, grab some food and then have a well earned relax with a local beer listening to some great live entertainment.
