Beer Hall Celebrates First Birthday

4 August 2017

Clitheroe’s Beer Hall at Holmes Mill celebrated its first birthday in July with news that customers have supped 300,000 pints of beer since the venue opened its doors.

In its first 12 months, the Beer Hall, which houses what is believed to be the UK’s longest bar, has served 36,000 pints of Bowland Brewery’s flagship artisan ale, Hen Harrier. In addition to the Bowland Brewery range, more than 900 different cask ales from 106 breweries have been served across the 105 feet and eight inches long bar.

Said Heidi Kettle, marketing manager for Holmes Mill: “We would like to thank all our customers for making the Beer Hall’s first year a 300,000 pint success. But it’s not just about beer, we’ve also served more than 25,000 single gins which equates to approximately 900 bottles.”

All the Bowland beers are brewed on the premises at the brewery’s state of the art facility within Holmes Mill.

James’ Places portfolio includes Holmes Mill, The Emporium, Clitheroe, Waddington Arms and Lower Buck in Waddington, Mitton Hall at Mitton, The Royal Hotel at Kirkby Lonsdale, Eaves Hall, West Bradford, Shireburn Arms at Hurst Green, Falcon Manor, Settle and the Bowland Brewery. All share the same service values and ethos for beautiful surroundings with exceptional food and drink.
