Celebrating Lancashire’s young talent: Finalists announced for Sub36 Awards 2017

Lancashire’s young business people are celebrating after being named as finalists in the Sub36 Awards 2017.

Successful candidates were announced after a day of rigorous judging whittling down the entrants in each category to just four finalists for each award.

They have now been invited to meet an expert panel to share their story followed by Q&A on the official judging day on Thursday 28 September at The Villa at Preston North End.

The winners of the ten categories will be announced at a sparkling ceremony which takes place on Thursday 19 October at the Spanish Ballroom, Winter Gardens, Blackpool.

The awards, organised by Lancashire Business View magazine, will celebrate the young entrepreneurial, professional and business talent in the county – the next generation of Lancashire leaders.

Richard Slater, publisher of Lancashire Business View, said: “The Sub36 award is one that individuals and companies should aspire to, reflecting the quality of the candidates and the high standards of business people across Lancashire.”

The full shortlist can be seen at www.sub36.co.uk. Tables and tickets for the big night can also be requested through the website.

Sponsors of the awards are BAE Systems, Begbies Traynor, Fat Media, Lancashire Skills & Employment Hub, The Guild Group and Winter Gardens Blackpool.
