It’s written in the stars for North West Holiday Village!

Lancashire’s only 5 star Holiday Village retains its Visit England status for the eighth consecutive year!

Ribby Hall Village has received the fantastic news that it continues to be Lancashire’s only 5 star holiday village following a review in May this year, making it one of only a few in England to achieve this standard!

The poplar holiday destination welcomes thousands of visitors each year to their cottages, pine lodges and Spa Hotel; and believe continuous redevelopment and more importantly their staff are at the heart of the high score received in all aspects of accommodation, facilities and grounds.

A combination of scores, star rating and commentary that reflect the experience of the Quality in Tourism assessor make up the Visit England’s quality assessment report.  The report concluded that at Ribby Hall Village ‘all areas have been very well maintained and that there has been significant financial investment made with the full refurbishment of the swimming pool which took 6 weeks to complete.’

The high level accreditation is largely due to the efforts of the team at Ribby Hall Village and the pride taken in the product.
Managing Director Mark Partington explains “At Ribby, we are constantly reinvesting all profits back into the business with the aim of improving the holiday experience year on year. This year a significant investment was made in refurbishing our accommodation, the health club including a £1.6million redevelopment of our leisure pool. While last year saw the opening of our new addition Wild Discovery, an interactive animal experience.

“I do believe however Ribby Hall Village’s greatest achievement is that of the team, and the pride that all employees take in the development and maintenance of a five-star holiday Village, this has been clearly reflected in the Visit England report where cleanliness was rated at 100%.”
