4 December 2025

Marketing Lancashire is thrilled to announce that Blackpool and the Fylde College (B&FC) will be the Headline Sponsor of the Lancashire Tourism Awards 2026.

Annie Kerfoot, B&FC’s Vice Principal, Foundational Economy, said: “Blackpool and the Fylde College is proud to be supporting the Lancashire Tourism Awards 2026.

“Tourism and hospitality play a vital role in Lancashire’s economy and these awards are an essential platform and showcase for the talent, practices and achievements that continue to make it prosper.

“B&FC’s sponsorship reflects our commitment to working across the sector to champion excellence, encourage innovation and further develop the skills, insights and partnerships that will shape the sector’s future.”

Marketing Lancashire is also delighted to confirm that the awards will take place at Blackpool Winter Gardens on Wednesday 11th February 2026.

Vikki Harris, Marketing and Partnerships Director of Marketing Lancashire, comments

‘We are thrilled to be heading to the The Winter Gardens for our annual celebration of Lancashire Tourism. The venue is a stunning blend of old and new with the iconic original Opera House building, incredible ballroom spaces and the newer convention centre all on one site.

It is an impressive space to celebrate the finalists in all 22 categories of the Lancashire Tourism Awards for all the hard work they do to enhance the visitor experience in Lancashire. This year we will once again be hosting the Lancashire Taste Producer Awards as part of the ceremony too, meaning there are another 4 category winners to announce, and with so many finalists, a space as impressive as the Winter Gardens is a must.”

“It is also great to have Blackpool and the Fylde College on board as Headline Sponsor this year. The College has brilliant links to the hospitality industry and provides a talent pipeline to many of our businesses, meaning that the students get so many opportunities to experience the fast-paced nature of the the Visitor Economy first hand during their studies.”

Tickets are on sale now for the award ceremony, with an early bird offer on the price for those buying before early January. Head toLancashireTourismAwards.com to book yours.

Once again, the event will also play its part in supporting the hospitality industry with Hospitality Action as its charity partner. The charity, which aims to help those in need who work within the industry, will share information, and provide the opportunity for guests to donate on the night to support their work.

Additional Sponsors of the Lancashire Tourism Awards 2026 include:  BAE Systems, B&D Print Services, Blackpool Gazette, Conferences & Events at Burnley Football Club, Harrison Drury Solicitors, Insight6, Lancashire Business View, Lancashire Life, Lancashire Post, Lancashire Telegraph, Links Signs & Graphics, Musique, NPD, North Lancs Training Group, PM+M.
