GA Pet Food Celebrates National Pie Day
Colleagues at GA Pet Food were treated to a true Lancashire classic on Friday 23rd January, as the company celebrated National Pie Day across its two local sites in Buckshaw Village and Plocks Manufacturing Site in Bretherton.
More than 600 colleagues enjoyed a hearty lunch of pie, mash, peas and gravy, with traditional butter pie, meat and potato, and cheese and onion on offer, all supplied by Bowens Pies, a well-known local Lancashire pie maker. It was a real taste of Lancashire and a celebration of a much-loved national favourite.
The event brought together colleagues from across the business, representing many nationalities, all sharing a simple yet meaningful moment over a much-loved British dish. The atmosphere across both sites was lively and positive, with plenty of smiles, conversation and appreciation for a shared lunchtime treat.
