To celebrate the launch of the new Acer Ultrabook™ series, the cream of British talent have been selected to embark upon a 14-day once-in-a-lifetime UK expedition, courtesy of Acer. The first stop was ‘The Pendle Witch Tour’, led by Lancashire’s favourite ghost expert Simon Entwistle.

On Monday 18th June, the Acer U-Team set off on the journey of their lives to put the new Acer Aspire Ultrabooks to the ultimate test, showcasing the devices’ state of the art technology including instant access, instant connectivity and ultra-lightweight design.
About the Acer U-Team
Acer has handpicked four of the UK’s most connected, successful and adventurous individuals to form the Acer U-Team and take part in the ultimate expedition. Stuart was selected to capture the U-Experience on camera joining three others; Paul Evans (28), a Surrey based video blogger, Olivia Rose Howes (22), a Norfolk based fashion designer, and Matilda Egere Cooper (30), a West London based journalist, who are all embarking upon an exciting 14-day expedition – the U-Experience.

“The guys had one of the very best tour guides – Simon Entwistle taking them through this spooky experience, and all credit to the Acer U-Team for being brave enough to camp out on land that’s said to be amongst the most haunted in the country.”
Olivia Rose Howes commented on the experience: "We were all extremely excited to have been selected for the two week long Acer U-Experience expedition around the UK, and upon hearing we would be travelling up to Lancashire to hear about the Pendle Witches, and have the chance to take part in our very own ghost watch, we jumped at the chance to be involved!"
The 14-day Acer Intel U-Experience includes seven different activities, stretching from the North of the UK to the South. The experiences include a behind the scenes celebrity studded challenge at the Isle of White music festival, a live Q&A with an astronaut, Silverstone speed driving trials, an overnight stay surrounded by the ghosts of the Pendle Witches, and blindfolded caving.
