BLACKPOOL IS BACK FOR FEBRUARY HALF-TERM!
Blackpool is preparing to cast off the winter blues with a full programme of February half-term fun and entertainment.
Just weeks after the resort saw out the 2023 season with a spectacular New Year’s Eve fireworks finale, it is back in business to celebrate the first school holiday of 2024.
The half-term break will see a raft of family-friendly shows and events, and an unrivalled selection of indoor and outdoor visitor attractions on offer for parents and children.
Here are just a few half-term highlights to whet the appetite:
Baby, it might be cold outside, but the Sandcastle Waterpark enjoys an 84-degree tropical climate. With over 18 slides and plenty of exciting attractions, there is something to entertain the whole family in the UK’s largest indoor waterpark.
If animals are your thing, then don’t miss out on a trip to Blackpool Zoo, home to more than 1000 animals. What sets this magical place apart from other zoos? Close encounters with animals, excellent facilities for our less able visitors and happy, friendly staff who want to make your visit fun and some of the cutest critters imaginable.
The Blackpool Tower Eye might not be open just yet but there are more of Merlin’s magical attractions in resort than you can shake a stick of rock at. Choose your adventure from SEA LIFE Blackpool, Gruffalo & Friends Clubhouse, Peter Rabbit Explore & Play, Blackpool Dungeon and Madame Tussauds Blackpool or buy a Pick ‘n Mix pass to experience them all!
February half-term also sees a brand new show in the world-famous Tower Circus. From February 10, visitors can enjoy incredible stunts and belly laughs galore thanks to resident clowns Mooky and Mr Boo.
The magic begins as soon as you step through the doors of Hole In Wand. Get ready for a wizard adventure and take on a nine-hole adventure, featuring a forest full of venomous snakes, an ancient castle with a magical fountain, a trip to a train station and a chance to visit York’s mysterious Shambles. And don’t forget to check out the magical merchandise!
Putt Above is a brand new high-tech mini golf experience and cocktail bar with a twist. Visuals for each game are projected on to the lanes with players going head-to-head in a variety of mini-games. Each lane can accommodate groups of up to eight and all ages are welcome. Situated just along the Prom from The Blackpool Tower.

Enjoy the great outdoors
Seize the day with a saunter along Blackpool’s six-mile stretch of beaches!
