Nick Thompson, Deputy Managing Director of Blackpool Pleasure Beach, adds, “This award means so much to me as Valhalla is a ride that I am extremely proud of. When me and my father first came up with the concept of the ride, we wanted to make it the best in the world. I spent a number of years traveling the world to find the very best special effects to use in the ride. It’s pleasing to see that even a number of years on from its launch, the ride is still considered to be the best in the world.”
