Celebrating ‘Grand Days Out’ this Lancashire Day
Marketing Lancashire, Lancashire’s Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP), is celebrating Lancashire Day on Thursday 27th November by asking visitors and residents to relive and share their grand days out in the county.

Each year Marketing Lancashire dedicates their online channels to celebrating the culture, lifestyle and achievements of Lancashire, to put the Red Rose county in the forefront of people’s minds and to get #LancashireDay trending.
This year will be no different, with VisitLancashire.com hosting the ‘Lancashire Day Grand Prize Draw’ on its website now, for entries in the build up to and on the big day itself. This annual grand prize draw will see one lucky winner treated to all these fantastic prizes:

Across the Marketing Lancashire LinkedIn and X channels, the company will also be sharing good news stories and messages from businesses across the county. To get involved and give your business, your recent awards or your ‘cracking’ team a shout out, please email your message to [email protected]
Last year the #LancashireDay activity reached over 6.3 million people and over 3,000 people entered the prize draw on Visitlancashire.com. The activity also resulted in the hashtag #LancashireDay trending on X throughout the day, with people talking about our brilliant county and Lancastrian achievements from dawn until dusk, at locations all over the world.

Vikki Harris, Marketing and Partnerships Director at Marketing Lancashire said “Lancashire Day continues to be a big celebration with more and more people joining in the fun on our social media channels, sharing what they love most about Lancashire. We also take the opportunity to amplify the achievements of incredible businesses in the county, who take the Lancashire success story to the rest of the world and welcome visitors with a warmth and generosity that’s second to none.
“This year’s Lancashire Day Grand Prize includes a gift from famous Lancastrian Nick Park, whose exhibition reopened The Harris this year, along with overnight stays, dining out experiences, local produce and entry to several attractions: providing one very lucky winner with even more grand days out and tasty treats.
