Dahlia’s Farm Shop going for big awards in 2016

13 April 2016

Dahlia’s Farm Shop has enjoyed a good first year trading as the new and improved Farm Shop with in-house butchers, deli, fruit & vegetables. Since the butchers have become in-house they have built up a loyal following of customers who choose fresh, local produce where they know they will get the high quality and personal service expected.

Fast forward to the present day and Dahlia’s Farm Shop are entering their first show at the Foodex National Meat Products Competition 2016 at the NEC in Birmingham! The competition award is being held on Monday 18th April. The head butcher at Dahlia’s (Robert Sykes, pictured) will be displaying his range of skills by showcasing his Pork Sausage, Slimmer’s Sausage, Chocolate & Chilli Sausage, Beef Burger and Salt & Pepper Burger at the show. Judges will be carefully examining all the products so good luck to Robert!

Dahlia’s Farm Shop is honoured to be recognised for the award and shows that everything is moving in the right direction for the Blackpool based Farm Shop. Shaun Pickup, owner of Dahlia’s has spoke about the award, “It is brilliant that we have been put forward for this nationally recognised award and shows the hard work of everyone here that we have managed to get to this stage”.
