The venue, which is part of hospitality group James’ Places, scooped the award for its gift and home selection at the event held at The Grosvenor House Ballroom, London, on Thursday (May 4).

Said operations director Carol Sleet: “We’re delighted to have received this award which, not only recognises the best of the home and gift industry, but also celebrates hard work in the sector across the country.

“It tops off a great few months for James’ Places and couldn’t come at a better time, as the Emporium celebrates its 20th birthday this month.”

The former Methodist church will be marking its milestone anniversary with a new seasonal menu and selection of original cocktails as well as a décor refresh. It is also hosting a party on May 18, with live music from 7pm with Emporium favourite Grace Davies.
