Forbes Solicitors serves up lease for new Preston restaurant

21 July 2026

Lancashire-headquartered Forbes Solicitors has helped agree a five-year lease for a new restaurant and bar in Preston city centre.

The new venue named Luka will open in the coming weeks, taking residency in the former home of chain-restaurant Bistrot Pierre on Fishergate, which closed in March last year.

Luka will offer a range of dishes inspired by flavours from around the world, including Mediterranean-influenced specialties, as well as carefully selected, premium steaks. Breakfast and brunch will be served for early diners, while an early-bird menu will provide great-value dining deals from 4:00pm – 5:30pm and be followed by a full à la carte menu in the evenings.

Evenings at Luka will also include live music and DJs, with plans for sophisticated supper club dining experiences from 9:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
