Holmes Mill, the go-to venue in Clitheroe, is hosting its first ever Gin Fest this July.

Taking place over two days, July 21 and 22, visitors to the area will be able to taste a selection of more than 30 different gins from a variety of local, independent and national distilleries including Batch, Cuckoo, Manchester 3 Rivers and Masons with more exhibitors yet to confirm.

Along with a range of cocktails, there will also be a number of masterclasses and a selection of live music throughout the weekend. Gin lovers can also enjoy a prosecco bar as well as cheese and charcuterie available to order.

Live music will begin at 5pm on Friday July 21, with performances from Will Thompson, a creative pianist playing his own unique arrangements of the biggest recent chart hits, at 5pm and again at 7pm. He is followed by Felix Hagan, a lively mix of rock, pop and musical theatre who will take to the stage at 9pm.

On Saturday July 22, Will Thompson will perform again at 2.30pm and 4.30pm. In the evening, six-piece band Neon Cactus, will play a range of favourite soul and motown tracks, plus funked up versions of modern classics at 7.30pm and 9.30pm.
