23 January 2024

HAPPA (Horses and Ponies Protection Association) are celebrating a milestone in the Charity’s history this year, its Golden Anniversary of its time in Burnley.

The event is to be held at The Fence Gate, Wheatley Lane Road, Burnley on Saturday 20th April from 7pm. A very fitting venue situated near to where the Charity began its time in Burnley at Greenbank Farm, Fence in 1984. Guests will be treated to a three-course meal and entertainment by the fabulous Nathan Moore.

HAPPA’s Julie Pharaoh-Gan explains, “I am very excited to celebrate such a prestigious event with all the Charity’s supporters and friends. The evening will be a celebration of success, an opportunity to put those glad rags on and have a thoroughly great time. Fence Gate have kindly offered all attendees discount on rooms at the luxurious Fence Gate Lodge. Rooms are limited so if you are travelling from afar to celebrate with us be sure to contact me so we can make arrangements for your stay.”

2024 marks the 50th year anniversary of the Charity’s headquarters and operations in Burnley, and HAPPA would like local businesses, friends of the Charity and supporters to join them to celebrate the milestone.
