The Blackpool Resort Pass – the attractions

Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Spend a day at Blackpool Pleasure Beach where you can enjoy the thrills and spills of 125 rides and attractions. There’s something for everyone.

For the ultimate in thrills, why not brave the UK’s tallest rollercoaster – The Big One.  Hold your breath as you board Infusion, the exhilarating, five looping coaster which is the first in the world to be suspended completely over water. Red Arrows Skyforce is the latest attraction for 2015, giving each rider control of their cockpit 72ft above the ground

Blackpool Pleasure Beach also is home to the UK’s only Nickelodeon Land.  Nickelodeon Land is a six-acre area of Blackpool Pleasure Beach which is home to 12 rides based on characters from one of the world’s leading multi-platform entertainment brands for kids and families. As well as enjoying all of the fantastic rides, guests can rub shoulders with famous Nick characters such as SpongeBob Square Pants and Dora the Explorer, shop in the UK’s only Nick Shop and dine in the beautifully designed Big Pizza Kitchen.

The Blackpool Tower Eye with 4D Experience. Before your ascent to the top of The Blackpool Tower, encounter the new 4D Blackpool – sights, sounds and special effects. Then, ready for your flight, embark on a journey to The Blackpool Tower Eye, where you are met with floor to ceiling uninterrupted views across Blackpool and beyond. Step out onto the Skywalk…it’s like walking on air! Then why not try a Lancashire made meal in the Burger Kitchen, all produce locally served and to ready in the quickest time possible.

Delve into Blackpool’s most horrible history at The Blackpool Tower Dungeon. Experience live actors, a thrilling drop ride and exciting special effects. Prepare to be scared as you are hurled from terrors in the torture chamber to the pestilence of the plague. Creep through the woods of Pendle, where witches hang in the trees, punished for their devilish arts. Are you brave enough?

Madame Tussauds Blackpool, the ultimate celebrity experience, getting you up close and personal with Britain’s best-loved celebrities. From top style tips to high profile crime scenes, you can join the cast of your favourite TV shows. There’s something for everyone, from iconic sporting heroes to music idols and Britain’s favourite soap characters to comic legends. Not forgetting the latest figures including pop star Olly Murs.

SEA LIFE Blackpool is home to one of the largest collections of tropical sharks in Europe. Housing more than fifty spectacular displays and over 2,000 assorted sea creatures it takes visitors on a journey from the coastline and sandy shallows to the ocean depths. A highlight for every visitor is undoubtedly the mighty ocean tank, teeming with tropical sharks and colourful reef fish, from the amazing vantage of a walkthrough underwater tunnel it is easy to imagine it is you…rather than the fish…that is on display!

The Blackpool Resort Pass Plus – even more fun in Britain’s most popular seaside resort

The UK’s largest indoor waterpark can be found on the Resort Pass Plus at Sandcastle Waterpark. Housing over 18 slides and attractions, made up of waterslides, fun pools, wave machines and water shoots, the waterpark also has a constant 84 degree and a lazy river, something for everyone to enjoy. With a range of places to eat whilst enjoying your visit, it really is the ideal attraction.

Blackpool Zoo has it all. Spread across 32-acres of parkland, animals from a vast range of species call this place home. The award-winning attraction proudly cares and nurtures Colin the cockroach to aardvarks and African Lions, all of which can be admired and gazed upon by visitors. Scheduled talks allow the most curious to delve a little deeper and discover more about these magnificent creatures.

Blackpool Model Village & Gardens is just a stone throw away from the hustle and bustle of the main town centre;  proudly one of the more tranquil attractions the resort has to offer. The stunning setting is made up of hundreds of carefully crafted models and figures portraying the great British life, defining culture and unique humour. This familyrun haven delivers a warm and welcoming reception, a customer service throughout that is like no other.
