Lancashire spa is nominated for best in north

A Lancashire hotel is celebrating after receiving a flurry of nominations in this year’s Good Spa Guide Awards.

Stanley House Hotel and Spa in Mellor has been shortlisted in three categories by the Good Spa Guide – a national expert guide to spas and treatments across the UK.

The awards, which recognise the best spas in the UK, is divided into two categories; the regional and the national awards.

The spa has been shortlisted for ‘best spa for treatment results’ and ‘best spa for above and beyond’ in the national awards. This follows recommendations by an expert panel of judges who have been anonymously visiting and reviewing spas up and down the country over the last 12 months.

The spa spies dubbed Stanley House as ‘ideal for serious spa goes who want a spa that is practically perfect in every way.’ They also applauded Stanley House for its Natura Bisse diamond facial treatment which has lasting effects.

Stanley House has also been listed as a finalist in the regional category for the North of England’s Best Spa Award after receiving the exceptional ‘5 Bubbles’ rating by the Good Spa Guide earlier this year. This winners for this award will be voted for by the public with voting closing on October 31.

The luxurious spa, tucked away in the Ribble Valley countryside boasts panoramic views and incorporates the very latest treatment facilities delivered by international spa consultants, Howard Spa Consulting who has served hotels including; London’s Dorchester and Armani spas across the globe.

The winners of the awards will be announced on November 10 at the national ‘Spa Life UK’ conference in Stratford-upon-Avon.
