LEP launches new Covid-19 business support web page

The Lancashire Enterprise Partnership (LEP) has launched a single webpage with full details of all the latest help and support for businesses affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.

The LEP has included signposts to all the relevant and current information on the webpage www.lancashirelep.co.uk/covid-19 to make it easy for employers to find out about the support available and where they can seeks advice.

Chair of the LEP, Steve Fogg, said: “There is a vast amount of information available for businesses looking to access some of the economic support packages which have been announced by Government in response to the Covid-19 crisis. Unfortunately not all of the advice available is accurate or at times can be conflicting.

”The Lancashire Enterprise Partnership understands that businesses need to have confidence in the advice they receive and is from legitimate sources. Many are experiencing unprecedented challenges for survival and they do not need to added complication of not knowing how to access the support and advice they need. This is why we, in collaboration with partners, have developed this page and would urge people to access the site at www.lancashirelep.co.uk/covid-19”

Visitors to the webpage will be able to find out about a wide range of information including:

• How to contact the LEP’s business growth hub, Boost, and the business support campaign #AskForHelp

• Information on digital tools and freely available digital training to support the use of those tools, compiled by the Lancashire Digital Skills Partnership

• The package of temporary, timely and targeted measures to support public services, people and businesses being offered by Government.


Sarah Kemp, the Chief Executive of Lancashire Enterprise Partnership added, ”Government advice and support is changing on a daily basis. The information available on the webpage will be updated regularly so businesses can be assured they are receiving the very latest information as it is released.

“Our priority to help businesses through this crisis and to try and ensure they are in the best position possible to recover from the adverse economic impact of Covid-19.”
