Moor Park Café Opportunity

4 April 2017

An opportunity to run a café at Moor Park in Preston is now available.

As part of the Heritage Lottery funded restoration at the historic park, the former bowls pavilion has been refurbished and we are now on the lookout for someone to run a café at the site.

Located overlooking the bowling greens with easy access on foot or bicycle, the pavilion is in a perfect location for this type of business. The children’s play area and outdoor gym are also not far away.

Councillor Robert Boswell, Cabinet member for community and environment, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for a new or established family business.

“We’ve had the idea for a café in the park for a very long time and as part of the Heritage Lottery funded restoration, we are now in a position to make it happen.

“Many visitors to the park have asked for a café and the former bowls pavilion is an ideal location.”
