Night fever at wedding open day

7 January 2016

Stanley House Hotel and Spa, Mellor is adding a new highlight to its renowned wedding open day. On Sunday, January 10, from 11am-3pm the award-winning venue will welcome special guests Fever Dance Company, whose experts will demonstrate how couples can prepare for that all important first dance.

Stephen and Rachael Holland, directors at Fever Dance Company, are no strangers to Stanley House having enjoyed their own wedding at the venue in 2006.

Stephen said: “We are delighted to be welcomed back to Stanley House and are looking forward to helping future bride and grooms get to grips with their first dance.

“Dance instruction and choreographing routines have risen in demand due to the popularity of video content shared on social media.

“From putting on a show-stopping first dance performance delighting guests to coaching a rugby team to complete the ‘Thriller’ routine as a surprise element of the ceremony, we are able to create a package tailored to each couple.”

Stanley House will welcome couples with light refreshments upon arrival and guests will be able to view the fully dressed barn and stable suites before taking in the choices of accommodation, including the Grade II listed Manor House and the new luxury Woodland Rooms.

Attendees can also discover more from some of the hotel’s key wedding partners who will be in attendance at the event and speak to the experienced Stanley House wedding team, who will be on hand to advise on how to achieve the perfect wedding day.

Personal tours are available which feature the award-winning spa boasting treatment rooms, salt and aroma steam rooms, Finnish sauna, hydrotherapy pool, relaxation lounge and a host of pre-wedding treatments.
