On the Lookout for Visit England’s next Tourism Superstar

16 October 2025

VisitEngland’s Tourism Superstar award, now in its fourteenth year, recognises and celebrates those in the tourism industry who go the extra mile to ensure visitors in England have an amazing and unforgettable experience.

Tourism Superstar nominees are passionate about where they work and the destination they live in, and consistently set the bar high for the standard of service in England’s tourism industry.  Nominees can be individuals or teams of up to 10.

If you know a Tourism Superstar in Lancashire who fits the criteria, send your suggestions to [email protected] so we can share them with the team at VisitEngland before nominations close at the end of November 2025.

The overall winner of the award in 2025 was The Southampton Saints. A group made up of 13 port cruise welcome ambassadors who greet visitors at the city’s port.  Visit England’s Andrew Stokes said the group “pull out all the stops when they welcome cruise ship tourists at the city port with a friendly smile and helpful information on local attractions and must-see places. They also provide the all-important first impression, setting the standard for what visitors can expect from their tourism experience in England. I thank them for their hard work and I congratulate the team on this well-deserved win.
