Sand grown’un Jane Tregonning returns home, to work at Ribby Hall Village.  After almost a decade at Marriott Hotels International Limited and as Director of Leisure, Jane Tregonning has returned to work in the Fylde; bringing a whole wealth of experience to lead her team of 45 at Ribby Hall Village’s award-winning Spa.

Married and a mother of two, Jane is passionate about all things spa, health and wellness.  Fanatical about keeping fit, Jane’s hobbies when not spending time with her family include running along Blackpool’s promenade, competing in marathons – sometimes in Europe and also regular visits to the gym.

Originally from Blackpool, Jane’s career within the Spa and Leisure industry commenced after completing a Masters in Sport & Recreational Management at Sheffield University and with a BSc in Health Studies from the University of Sunderland.  Since then Jane’s career has flourished excelling in roles as a Fitness Manager, progressing to Spa Manager within the private sector, Leisure Club Manager and over the last decade Jane has been part of the Marriott Hotel’s Executive Committee.

As part of Ribby Hall Village’s Leadership Team Jane joins Andrew Scott, The Hotel Manager who leads an additional team of 75 at The SPA Hotel.  Between them Jane and Andrew have day-to-day responsibility for The SPA Hotel.

As Jane says, “It’s great to be back working so close to my hometown of Blackpool. I feel privileged to join such a successful and reputable spa destination.  Naturally my priorities are to get to know my amazing team of highly experienced and qualified therapists and to build on 2015’s successes throughout 2016.  It’s important we remain the leading provider of spa experiences in the area, and I’m already enjoying working with such like-minded and driven individuals.”

Jane’s peer Andrew Scott, The Hotel Manager explains “Finding an experienced Spa Manager who has the determination, drive and high standards we expect as a five-star destination has been no mean feat.  And so we’re delighted that Jane has joined The SPA Hotel and Ribby Hall Village’s leadership team.  It’s looking like The SPA Hotel will finish 2015 on a record high and we’re planning for very exciting times ahead.  We’re looking forward to introducing a variety of new offerings to our day and also overnight visitors throughout 2016.
