- Marketing Lancashire to showcase region at 2026 international travel trade shows

Marketing Lancashire is pleased to announce that it will be representing Lancashire at three exciting Travel Trade Shows at the start of 2026, with the aim of attracting more international visitors to Lancashire.
The team will showcase the region at Britain and Ireland Marketplace in London on January 30th, the Visit England Benelux Roadshow in Amsterdam on February 11th and ITB Berlin which runs for three days over 3rd – 5th March.
Each of these exciting events provides an opportunity for one-to-one business meetings with a range of travel industry buyers from around the world; showcasing Lancashire’s fantastic tourism and hospitality products that appeal to markets in key priority travel areas such as the USA, Germany, France, The Nordics, Netherlands, China and India.
Lancashire is a must-visit destination for travel trade professionals seeking authentic English experiences. From breath-taking landscapes to vibrant coastal resorts and historic cities, Lancashire offers diverse products that appeal to group travel, flexible independent travel, and luxury markets. With strong transport links, award-winning attractions, and a commitment to sustainable tourism, the region provides excellent opportunities for tour operators and travel agents to expand their UK portfolio.
The team is working on a range of tailored itineraries for each key market, in response to research that found audiences are particularly interested in quintessentially British offerings, as well as affordable luxury products, food, outdoors, walking & cycling. All of which are abundant in Lancashire.
As part of the preparation for these events, the team will be working on identifying and shaping the bookable, trade-ready products that can be included in travel trade activity, both within the UK and internationally. If you are a Visit Lancashire partner and have not received a survey regarding your interest in working with the travel trade, contact [email protected]. Please be aware survey responses are required by Friday 23rd January 2026.
Marketing Lancashire is always happy to hear from individuals and organisations who are not in partnership but are interested in working collaboratively to showcase our Lancashire’s distinctive culture, heritage and landscapes to visitors across the world.
