Sandcastle relaunches Accessible Quiet Sessions

27 April 2026

Sandcastle Waterpark is set to relaunch its popular Accessible Quiet Sessions, designed to give guests a calmer, more comfortable experience. The first session will take place on Saturday 16 May from 6pm to 8pm.

Created for guests who may find standard operating conditions overwhelming, the session will run with reduced capacity, no music, and no announcements, allowing visitors to enjoy everything the waterpark has to offer in a more relaxed environment.

Dedicated Water Ambassadors will also be on hand throughout the evening to support anyone who may need additional assistance.

Kyle Woodcock, General Manager at Sandcastle Waterpark, said: “I am delighted to relaunch our accessible sessions.

“We pride ourselves on offering an inclusive and accessible experience for all our guests, but we recognise that some visitors benefit from a calmer setting than our usual operating conditions.

“I look forward to welcoming guests on Saturday 16 May and gathering feedback as we plan future sessions.”

During the session, guests can enjoy the full range of attractions, including thrilling white‑knuckle slides, family splash zones and the park’s iconic wave pool.

Earlier this year, Sandcastle Waterpark completed a £500,000 refurbishment ahead of its 40th anniversary in June. The investment includes a brand‑new changing village featuring upgraded cubicles and lockers.

The waterpark remains committed to accessibility, offering facilities such as poolside wet rooms, water wheelchairs, hoist systems, quiet sensory rooms and ear defenders.

Tickets on sale now priced at £15 per person, with free carer entry for guests with an Access Plus Card. Bookings can be made at www.sandcastle-waterpark.co.uk.
