The innovative new Hospitality Associates Programme from the leading Lancashire-based company is looking to recruit, develop and empower the next generation of managers and leaders for the holiday park and hospitality sector by offering dynamic individuals a structured and supportive pathway into a rewarding long-term career.
Partington’s Holiday Parks owns and operates holiday parks across Lancashire, the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales all with a focus on family fun and future innovation, and has long been synonymous with a warm welcome, exceptional customer service and lasting family memories.
The newly launched Associates Programme builds on that legacy and participants in the scheme will be offered the opportunity to work across various departments in the company’s busy, vibrant holiday parks – from hospitality and housekeeping to catering, leisure services, retail and groundskeeping – giving hands-on insight into how a successful holiday park operates, while helping applicants to find the role that suits them best.
Just like sibling CEOs and 4th generation Partington’s family members, Rob Kearsley and Andrea Challis, have done over many years as they also grew with the thriving business, learning the ropes while working across every department and leading with enthusiasm and empathy, and never asking anyone to do something they wouldn’t do themselves.

The one and two year Associates Programmes are fixed term contracts that focus on the operational aspects of Partington’s Holiday Parks with a guaranteed interview for a permanent position upon completion of the programme. Applications are welcome from committed candidates aged 18+ regardless of qualifications and previous experience in the hospitality or leisure industry.

Emma Savage from Cleveleys, Lancashire, is currently completing her first year on the Hospitality Associates Programme, having joined Partington’s specifically to take part in the initiative. The 29-year-old Corporate Hospitality Associate said: “I joined the programme because it offers the chance to gain hands-on experience across so many different areas of the business – from front of house and reception to housekeeping, bars and entertainment. It’s also helped me to develop new skills, build confidence and meet lots of different people along the way. What makes the experience even more rewarding is being part of a well-established, family-run business that genuinely invests in people and supports their development.”
There are two levels of the Hospitality Associates Programme:
Level 1 works towards a supervisory role at the end of the programme or a progression to Level 2 of the programme, while Level 2 works towards a management role at the end of the programme. During each programme full supervisory and management training will be delivered and the scheme offers real responsibility from day one with structured, paid work experience across multiple departments; on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced team members; ongoing personal development, and the chance to gain industry-recognised qualifications with progression opportunities for those who show passion and commitment in this nurturing and welcoming environment where people are encouraged to grow.
