Five Pendle companies have been highlighted as being among the fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the UK.

1000 Companies to Inspire Britain 2016 features Barnfield Group Limited, Euravia Engineering & Supply Co. Limited, Ferguson Engineering (Holdings) Limited, T&R Precision Engineering Limited and Keith Walton Construction.

It’s the third edition of the London Stock Exchange Group’s (LSEG) landmark report which shines a light on those companies having a remarkable impact on the UK’s economy.
Pendle Vision Board is thrilled that Pendle is once again being highlighted as a hotspot for success and innovation.

Richard Sutton, Vice Chair of Pendle Vision Board, said: “It’s fantastic to see five Pendle companies included in this year’s report.

“All of the companies have been identified as outperforming their sector peers over the past four years.

“They’re all growing at an average of 50% per year and they’re highlighted as being innovative and creating jobs which are usually higher skilled.

“We know we have some of the most successful businesses in the UK right here on our doorstep but it’s great to have it recognised by the LSEG’s latest findings.”

Xavier Rolet, CEO of LSEG, said: “High growth SMEs are the driving force behind the UK economy, developing the skills, jobs and growth we need. “

The Vision Board brings together key employers and private sector businesses to advise Pendle Council on long-term economic development and lobby for funds.

It also promotes the Pendle Advantage – a great place to live, work and play.
