Blackpool Grand launches new-look website

Blackpool Grand launches its new website, www.blackpoolgrand.co.uk.
Re-designed from the ground up for 2020 the blackpoolgrand.co.uk website includes more comprehensive information on shows than ever before.

Starting with the homepage a ‘tailored for you’ section adapts to viewing interests, a new place to discover more about Blackpool Grand on each visit, in addition to the latest news.
The website features an expanded menu to help visitors navigate to the information they’re looking for easily and quickly, providing information not just about the shows but planning a visit as an individual, group or school.

In What’s On, shows have been listed with even more information in a clean and card like fashion to define them and give clear visibility of what’s coming over the next few months.
The show pages have great new features including; clearer dates and times of performances and availability of seating. A new Concierge service for planning those special occasions. Discover more about the cast and creatives and pre and post show talks. Beautiful galleries and video also offer an insight into your chosen show. The ‘helping hand’ assistant offers 3D views of the theatre, nearby locations and pricing on hotels and Airbnb, accessibility information and where to eat and drink.

The Accessibility area has had a complete overhaul, it’s reorganised to offer greater services for people visiting the theatre with individual needs including a new informative video.
Recruitment and Volunteering has been expanded allowing applicants to find discover more about a position, with employee video diaries, and recruitment FAQs.

The Get Creative area informs visitors about the theatre’s activities and workshops, artist development, exhibitions, photographic sessions, talks and tours. It lists case studies, resource links and more. Blackpool Grand will continue to add more resources as they become available.
Andrew Howard, Marketing Manager for Blackpool Grand said; ‘Our What’s On, Search and FAQ sections have been a main priority, as was performance, searching for an item instantaneously displays the results and allows you to see them clearly, prioritising our programme of shows.

The theatre recently announced the 1894 Club (aptly named after the year the theatre was opened), a loyalty membership club that offers incredible services and options online, including; discounted and priority seat access, Gold and Diamond members can access to a new private 1894 Club Box and members can take advantage of great offers at local attractions, restaurants and more.
