Changes to Blackpool Bus & Tram Services from Sunday 29th March
Blackpool Transport will make changes to its bus & tram services from Sunday 29th March to enable key workers to travel as safely as possible.
The local bus company is reducing the frequency on its bus routes during the daytime, meaning there will be less services running each day.
All tram services will be temporarily suspended until further notice from Sunday 29th March to ensure that a ‘key worker’ bus transport service can be provided and the operator can use its resources to maximum effect.
The first and last bus times will remain the same to ensure key workers and those who have to travel for essential needs are still be able to do so.
The frequency of services is being reduced to help keep customers and staff safe, and the reduced service is a reflection of the lesser demand for services following the latest government guidance.
Service 1 will operate to a similar timetable as the tram and provide a suitable alternative to regular tram users, with the first and last departures being the same as tram services.
