Visitors to Lancaster’s Judges’ Lodgings Museum will soon be able to get a discount on the entrance price if they also visit Lancaster Castle.

The museum is currently shut over winter, and is expected to reopen in Spring 2020.

County Councillor Peter Buckley, Lancashire County Council’s cabinet member for community and cultural services, said: “We are really pleased that we are able to reduce the cost of admission to the wonderful Judges’ Lodgings Museum.

“We’ve got two iconic historical buildings close to each other, so it made sense to lower the cost of admission to one attraction and encourage people to visit both.”

Admission to the Judges’ Lodgings Museum costs £2 for concessions. Children under the age of 16 go free, when accompanied by an adult. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Access for disabled visitors is limited at the Judges’ Lodgings Museum, but arrangements can be made by calling 01524 581241.
