Local Inn launches boutique bedrooms

5 July 2019

The New Inn, Yealand Conyers, is celebrating the start of summer by introducing six boutique bedrooms to their hotel, combining the charm and history of the building with elegant and luxurious design.

Located in the heart of Yealand, the newly appointed bedrooms, have been built and designed in keeping with this historic building. Since its opening in March 2017, a conversion of the upstairs has been promised and the boutique bedrooms do not disappoint.

Formerly a community concern, the 16th century inn has been carefully restored by Barry Robinson Ltd, completely transforming the building into a luxurious boutique hotel with eclectic custom furniture, pop colours and beautiful countryside views.

Exclusive and intimate, each bedroom offers individuality. Some bedrooms feature in-room bath tubs whilst others feature their very own Smeg fridges to keep drinks and packed lunches cool, perfect for walkers and cyclists alike.

The new hotel will also be available for smaller, intimate weddings where couples will be able to select the perfect individual rooms for their guests and create a truly bespoke and personal wedding.

The restoration carried out by IL and ME Tyson Ltd has been headed by Director, Fiona Robinson. Fiona said: “We are beyond excited to launch our boutique bedrooms. It has been amazing to see our vision come to life. We are so lucky to have talented craftsmen locally who have all worked hard to create our rooms.  Finishing the rooms has completed our hotel. With our beautiful restaurant and bar downstairs this really has been the cherry on the cake.”

“What makes this so special too, is the support from the community. Our neighbours have seen the transformation of the hotel in the last 2 years, we are so lucky to be part of this supportive community.” Fiona added.

New Inn Insider Tip: The New Inn is on the sus-trans cycle route and is also minutes from Leighton Moss Nature Reserve so perfect for guests who love cycling, walking and the great outdoors.
