New Heritage Rooms Tell Leyland Story

20 November 2014

NEWS FLASH

The BEST WESTERN PREMIER Leyland Hotel has taken inspiration from the heritage of the Leyland Motor company with their extensive refurbishment of 31 bedrooms to incorporate artwork of the great Leyland marques, creating the instantly recognisable “History of Leyland Wing”.

This vision was only possible as a result of the painstaking research and assistance of Derek Westall of the British Commercial Museum, who was a key part of the project team.

To complete this section of superior rooms, the final room features the Leyland Motors calendar girls of 1951 and 1961.

Whilst the theme may reflect the past greats of Leyland, the rooms themselves are overflowing with every modern luxury with flatscreen TVs, ipod docking stations, superfast fibre optic free WiFi, bathrobes and slippers and king size beds with luxury mattress toppers.
